Jayson Whitehead—Executive Director

A resident of Charlottesville since 1998, Jayson Whitehead has worked with PACEM for more than a decade. While a writer for a local weekly paper, Jayson discovered his interest in serving the homeless. After a year of covering the area’s struggles to house this under-served population, he joined PACEM as a member of the seasonal staff. With a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Arkansas, Jayson has served as PACEM’s Executive Director since 2017.
