John:

I am horrified to say I have just received your message, after I contacted you about Daniel Davis in March. We have experienced some real challenges with the web site. Going forward, into the new shelter season, I will touch base again about Labor Ready, and I do apologize for the lack of reponse. Mr. Davis is working steadily, and still in town.

Best,

Colleen Keller
Executive Director, PACEM

Gayle,

We have had some difficulty with our web site, I do apologize for the delay in responding!

The Clothing Closet, at 815 Bolling Avenue, accepts donations on our behalf. They are open 10-12 every morning. We provide vouchers, and PACEM's guests go to the Closet to meet their needs. Thank you for thinking of PACEM!

Peace,

Colleen Keller

Allison,

I am very concerned, and apologetic that I do not believe your comments on the web site were ever responded too.

We are a small organization, and the snows and economy created a shelter season that placed in an overflow situation the entire winter. We simply could not keep up with the web site.

Our shelters closed April 2nd, thus I cannot offer a tour. I am happy to send some photos, or to have you and your children come visit us at the Haven (a day resource center for many we shelter), and I am happy to meet with you and talk a little about PACEM.

Please do accept our sincere apologies! We are very small, sometimes important notes, such as yours, are not answered as quickly as we like.

Peace,
Colleen Keller

Tommy was an occasional welcomed visitor of our Bible study class at University Baptist. Always energetic, he would preface his comments with "May I say something?", share some opinions and follow up with "And that's all I've got to say." He missed last Sunday with good reason as I saw him helping his wheelchair bound friend Laura into a car outside of Little John's. He's a great example of generosity from someone with very few resources.

We know Tommy had housing options but couldn't bring himself to choose them over his addiction. PACEM and UniBap were privileged to have provided Tommy with some peace during these past few years.
