PACEM seeks a Case Manager/Guest Advocate to assist homeless guests of our seasonal shelter.
Key responsibilities include providing intensive social work services to homeless individuals seeking shelter. Work will both facilitate access to mainstream services, and transition our shelter guests to more permanent housing options as quickly as possible. Services provided will include coordination with other providers, interagency advocacy on a service provider level, and the provision of both practical support and encouragement to individuals hoping to leave homelessness behind. PACEM’s Case Manager/Advocate works full-time throughout our shelter season (currently late October through mid April), and considerably less during the summer months. Evening and weekend hours are sometimes required to support shelter operations, as well as training and outreach events. This is an opportunity to make a true difference by addressing an important need in our community. Join our small, but dedicated team!
